As a new type of paint, water-based glow in the dark paint is known and purchased by more and more people because it can emit light in a dark environment. Water-based luminous paint has a wide range of applications, such as wall decoration, safety signs for stairs, marking lines on the pavement, and so on.
There are many factors to consider when carrying out outdoor ground construction. One of them is very important. It affects the life and strength of luminous paint after construction. It is temperature.
Construction under a high-temperature environment on the ground will cause the phenomenon of paint bubbling after construction, and will also affect the life and strength of luminous paint. Luminous Technology conducted a high-temperature resistance construction test for waterborne luminous paint. Let ’s take a look.
Use brushes and rags to clean the construction base surface so that it is free of water and dust, and ensure that the base surface is clean and tidy. Stick tape around the construction site to avoid construction pollution. Blend the sealing primer and curing agent at a ratio of 100: 15.
Measure the floor temperature with an infrared thermometer before brushing the closed primer. After the temperature measurement, the prepared closed primer is evenly applied on the base surface. Wait one hour after the sealing primer is applied (related to the temperature of the construction environment, and the paint film can be touched dry).
Mix the white primer, water, and curing agent according to the ratio of 100: 10: 8. Brush the prepared white primer evenly on the base surface. Wait for two hours after the white primer is applied (related to the temperature of the construction environment, the paint film can be touched dry).
The luminous paint, water, and curing agent are mixed according to the ratio of 100: 10: 8. When the luminous paint is applied, it is 12 noon, and the ground temperature will continue to rise. We use an infrared thermometer to measure the ground again, and the temperature will continue to rise. Brush the prepared luminous paint evenly on the base surface. The luminous paint needs to be brushed twice, with an interval of two hours each time (depending on the temperature of the construction environment, the paint film can be touched dry).
A single layer of water-based ground luminous paint is 200g / m2, and the construction interval of each layer is 2h (the coating surface can be dry, 2h is absolutely safe, related to the construction temperature and humidity), the surface temperature is not higher than 60 ° C, and the curing agent is used in proportion, Control these four factors can ensure the perfect effect of luminous paint.
